This course allows anyone with a computer, sewing machine, and willingness to learn, access to this Mama Bear’s sewing knowledge, step-by-step teaching, and original Ma Ma Osa patterns to use in crafting their own garments! Module 1: Know Your Machine + Build Your Kit
This module will be all about building your essential sewing kit, learning sewing machine basics, threading your machine, and getting confident using your machine through practicing stitches.
Module 4: Making the Elinor Dress
This module will provide everything it take to sew the Elinor Dress. A list of supplies, directions on cutting out your pattern/fabric, instructions for sewing the dress, and guidance through the proper finishing techniques that will make your garment truly shine and hold up over time.
Module 2: Pattern Basics
In module 2, you’ll learn how to take accurate measurements, receive a lesson on Patterns 101, and will walk through the step by step process of laying out your patterns for the garments in this course!
Module 5: Making the Elinor Top
This module will provide everything it take to sew the Elinor Top. A list of supplies, directions on cutting out your pattern/fabric, instructions for sewing the top, and guidance through the proper finishing techniques that will make your garment truly shine and hold up over time.
Module 3: Fabric
This module is all about selecting the right fabric for your project and prepping your fabric properly. It’s also accompanied by a list of my favorite fabric sources! (The exact suppliers I use for my shop!)
Module 6: Making the Beatrice Pants
This module will provide everything it take to sew the Beatrice Pants. A list of supplies, directions on cutting out your pattern/fabric, instructions for sewing the pants, and guidance through the proper finishing techniques that will make your garment truly shine and hold up over time.
Bonus Material:
Make Your Own Bias Tape
Using bias tape within your garment is a finishing technique that is used to give a polished edge to any neckline or sleeve of your garment. Alisha (our Mama Osa) will not only teach you how to use bias tap in the process of sewing your garment, she will be teaching you how to make your OWN bias tape from the exact fabric that you are using - to give your garment an even more cohesive and finished look.

Course Pattern Sizing
This course will come with a pattern for a loose fit dress, top and high waisted pants.
Top sizes for the dress and top range from XS to XL (with bust measurements listed as up to 33” for XS and bust up to 44” for XL )
The pant pattern is estimated for sizes XS to L with an estimated relaxed fit on a hip size 38-44.
*We also offer some similar patterns suggestions for extended sizing that you can find at local or online stores to sew along with these instructions.*
